Georgie Walker

It is with enormous sadness that we announce the passing of Georgie Walker on November 21, 2018. Our wife, mum, gramma and great-gramma gave a good Irish fight against Cancer for the past 2 years, but her caring generous heart could not go on. She has passed on to greener hills to finally be with her Mum, her Nanny, her auntie Big Mad and her best friend Ruthie. Georgie will be lovingly remembered always by her husband Doug, daughter Lori-ann (Son-in-law Rohan, granddaughters Brianne & Jaden), son Michael (Daughter-in-law Rosemary, granddaughter Sara & grandson Daniel), grandson Christopher (great-granddaughters Tia & Jaslene, great-grandson Ezra) and her good friends Fred, Doreen & Frankie. Georgie was born on Saturday February 15, 1941 in Toronto Ontario where she resided her entire life. She loved to spend time with her family, to swim, to dance, to cook, to read, to laugh …to love! We will honour Georgie's Irish heritage by celebrating her life on Saturday December 1, 2018 from 12noon - 4pm, at the Heritage Hall next to the Humbercrest United Church, located at 16 Baby Point Rd, Toronto, ON M6S 2E9.
