Gerard Kirkham

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gerard Kirkham. He passed away on Sunday August, 13 at the age of 65 in his home of Orleans, Ontario.

He was the beloved son of Theresa and the late Roy Kirkham. He was a wonderful father to his daughters, Jennifer and Lauren, and loving grampa to Daxton and Loxley. He will be deeply and sadly missed by his wife, Susan, and his brothers and sisters.

Gerard was a beacon of joy to all those who met him. His kind eyes and warm smile were a welcoming light to everyone he encountered - from his career with CRA to his retirement gig at Humanics Sanctuary and everything in between. Gerard's joy and zest for life will never be forgotten by his friends and family. A celebration of his life will be hosted at the Holiday Inn, 101 Kanata Avenue, Kanata on November 25, 2023 from 6 p.m. to midnight.

Gerard's family is asking in lieu of flowers to make a donation in his name to the Royal Ottawa Foundation for mental health.
