Gilles W. Cloutier

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gilles Cloutier on June 7, 2022.  Gilles was a magnificent and adoring husband of Carolyn Cloutier and beloved father of Lynn, Jacques (Marie), Claude, and Gilles Junior. Gilles also leaves behind his sister-in-law Jo-Ann (Jim Fersch) from Drayton Valley Alberta.  Beloved grandfather and great-grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.  Gilles was also a remarkable uncle to his niece Jeanie and nephew Tyler.  Forever best friends to Sylvia, Denis, George, Debbie, Jen, and Dave.

Gilles and his family would like to personally thank Dr. Khuong, Dr. Barnes, Dr. Lawlor and all the nurses at Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital for their special care.

A special thank you to Doug McLean and my entire team at Hama Investments Limited for being there for Gilles and our family during his last three years of suffering.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 14, 2022, at 11 am., at Holy Cross Parish, 685 Walkley Road, Ottawa.  A celebration of Gilles’ life will take place following the service at Bella Vista Restaurant, 2645 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elisabeth Bruyere Foundation in his name.
