Gladys Mary Carroll

After her short battle with cancer, Gladys Carroll passed away, surrounded by her closest loved ones, on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2021 at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus. Gladys was born on January 5th, 1962 in Low, Quebec to Joseph and Audrey Carroll (nee Rubottom). Gladys is predeceased by her sister Margaret.

Gladys is survived and deeply missed by her partner Ken, her children Ashley and William (Carly), and grandchildren Grace, Cadence and Lily. She will be deeply missed by her loving sister and best friend Noreen, her Godson Dylan, her sisters Lesly (Mally), Judy (Andy), brother Doug (Bonnie) and several nieces, nephews, friends and her dog Tia.

Gladys was the kindest and loving person. Constantly doing things for others. She had a passion for her family, birds, gardening and all animals. She also had a passion for Chev Trucks and loved taking Sunday drives with her partner Ken in her red Chev.

A graveside ceremony is being held at the Vars United Church Cemetery at 2459 Forced Road, Cumberland on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 at 2:00 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at the Carlsbad Springs Community Centre, 6020 Piperville Road, Carlsbad Springs from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
