HEPBURN, Gladys Evelyn - With sadness for our loss but joy for her peace, the children of Gladys (Spring) Fralick Hepburn announce their mother’s passing on Monday April 18th, 2022, at the remarkable age of 102. (February 13, 1920 - April 18, 2022) Gladys was the cherished mother of Donna (Merv) Wice, Bill (Marge) Fralick, David (Jessie) Fralick and caring stepmother of Bob (Karma) and Dennis (Liz) Hepburn. Loving sister of Betty Bedford, Edna Mae Longson, the late Gordon Spring, and the late Lilian Fralick. Predeceased by husbands Ferguson Fralick (1968) and James Hepburn (2009) and son Gary Fralick (2004). Proud grandmother of Craig, Kelly, Mary Lynn, Eric, Melissa, Julie, Jody, Lisa, Jonathan, Kaila, and Miranda. Delighted Great-grandmother of Robin, Jessa, Mya, Madelaine, Sam, Jack, Ben, Braedon, Zachary, Griffin, Harper, Peyton, Kasey, Hannah, Kayden, and Colton. Great-great-grandmother of Rosalie. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A special note of deep gratitude is extended to Grove Park Home staff for the tender loving care given Mom over her nearly 7 years there. A service of celebration will be held at BASIC FUNERALS & CREMATION CHOICES – JENNETT MEMORIAL CENTRE, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Friday April 29th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment at St Paul’s Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Services conducted by Claude Cox, Chaplain of Grove Park Home. The family kindly encourages everyone attending to please wear a mask. In memory of Gladys, donations to St. Paul’s Anglican Church or Grove Park Home would be welcome.
