Gordon Allan Brooks

Gordon "Gordo" Brooks, 74, passed away on February 26, 2025, in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Born on December 12, 1950, in Niagara Falls. 

he spent his life in the community he loved, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship and dedication. Gordon was the proud owner of "Stripes and Signs," a business he built and nurtured for many decades. His skill in pinstriping and sign making was widely recognized, earning him awards and the admiration of friends and colleagues alike. His meticulous attention to detail and passion for his craft made him a respected figure in the industry. Known to everyone for his artistry, Gordon's work left a lasting impression across the region.

Gordon is survived by his ex-wife Debbra Brownhill; his son Jared Emery (Michael Emery); his granddaughter Wynter Emery; his daughter Alicia Brooks; and his brother Doug Brooks and family. He was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Millie Brooks. Gordon’s dedication to his craft and the friendships he built along the way will be fondly remembered by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who were touched by his artistry and spirit.

Gordon was cremated in the February of this year and a Celebration of life will be held this upcoming spring with family and friends.
