Gordon Charles Garland

It is with overwhelming sadness that son James announces the peaceful passing of his best friend and father on January 23, 2018 at the age of 97. Devoted husband to his late wife Evelyn Ann Gaul of 58 years. Loving father to predeceased daughter Audrey may, grandson Shawn, and sisters May and Vera. His kind and gentle soul will be fondly remembered by the extended families of nieces Audrey, Marilyn,and Doris; nephews David, Gordon and George, sister-in-law Norma and Ruth, son-in-law Barry, granddaughter Nicole, grandson Cameron and all the incredible staff at the Salvation Army Malphen Manor (Paulina and Chrisanta), 155 Millwood Road. Gord was a longtime volunteer Youth Coach and 50 plus years of service for MacLean Hunter Publishing. On Sunday, February 4th, 11 a.m. service will include a celebration of his Christian life at Yorkminster Salvation Arm – 401 and Yonge Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
