Gordon Phillip Holmes

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Gordon Holmes on February 20, 2021, in Brampton, Ontario, at the age of 83 years. He joins his beloved wife and partner, Jane Holmes (married in 1996).

Gordon was born on September 21, 1937 in Parry Sound, Ontario to Tom and Elizabeth Holmes.

He leaves behind and will always be lovingly remembered by his first wife and lifelong friend, Judith Holmes; their children, Scott Holmes (Kimberly), Robin Taylor (Mitch), and Sheri Holmes; grandchildren, Ashley Holmes and her mother Sandy, Jesse Holmes, Alex Biro, and John Gage; great grandchildren, Atlas and Olive Gage and Dean Lily, and Virginia Holmes; loving sister, Mary Ann Mc Ewan (Gary); nieces and nephews Jamie, Mark, Kim, Debbie, Cindy, David, Keith, Kelly, and Terri; and dearest, closest friends, Ross and Marilyn Raby.

Gordon is predeceased by his brother, Jim Holmes (Gladys); sister, Linda Holmes; eldest son, Douglas Holmes; and grandson, Ethan Holmes.

In accordance to Gords wishes, a cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life will be held in in the summer months at Gords favourite place on earth, Raby's Camp in the community of Pointe au Baril, Ontario.
