Gwendolyn Joan Atherly

Gwendolyn Joan Atherly was born on 15th May 1953, in Georgetown, Guyana.

She was the daughter of Irene Govan and Cecil Atherly, both deceased.

Gwen’s early years were spent in Guyana.  Her family moved to Montreal Canada in 1969 where she completed High School and College.

After College, Gwen’s start was in the banking industry, however, she soon realized she had a higher calling and enrolled into Nursing School. Once she completed Nursing School she worked at The Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, as a Travel nurse in Texas, USA and at a hospital in Plattsburgh, USA before returning  to Canada where she worked at the Altamont  Nursing Home until she passed.

Gwendolyn will be missed by all, including her shared dog Pebbles:

Her siblings: Pat, Ossie, Carole, Beverly, and Dillon, and (Vivian, Leon and Bernie deceased)

Her Cousins: Barbara, Leslie, and Maureen

Her Nieces: Kim, Alicia, Dara and Keisha

Her Nephews: Adrian, Mark, Marc, Darren and Zaya

Her Great Niece: Roshan
