Gyorgy "George" Patrick Miklós

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Miklós, Gyorgy (Patrick) of Cornwall,  peacefully on March 13, 2025. He was born in Budapest, Hungary. George and his parents immigrated to Canada after the 1956 Hungarian revolution and made Cornwall their home. George would have celebrated his 79 birthday on May 10th.

Beloved husband of Viviane Miklos (Bourbonnais).

Dear son of the late Katalin (Dezsy) Miklos and Frank (Ferencz) Miklos. Loving father of Monica (David) Graveley, Daisy Milkos (Bill Rousseau). Cherished grandfather "Papa George" of Amber (Rej), Megan (Michael), Jordan, Jessica (JC), Allison and Halie. Blessed with 9 great - grandchildren Kaylib, Chase, Kaidynce, Jordan, Vivian, Archibald, Elinor, Ava and Ivy. He will be sadly missed by relatives in Toronto, Montreal and Hungary. His love, his lessons, and his warmth will be kept with us always. 

In honour of his memory the family invites you to consider making a contribution to Cornwall Hospice or to the charity of your choice. Arrangements for a private cremation will take place at Notre Dame Cemetery. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.
