Harold “The Fabulous” John Farrell
in his 89th year passed away peacefully with family by his side at The Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday May 31 2016. Harold was born on July 20 1927 in Hamilton On to Timothy and Myrtle (Smith) Farrell.
Harold is predeceased by his wife of 48 years Anna Maria (Cavalieri), is brother Don and Sister Helen.
Harold is survived by his daughters Helen(Mario), Rose Marie , Patricia , son Timothy, stepchildren Maria (John), Cathy(Terry) and Hugh. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren , great grandchildren as well as the many friends who touched his life.
Harold was an Active Force World War II veteran who served both in Canada and abroad. He was a retired Ironworker and was proud of the many structures he worked on in the Brantford area. Harold was also proud of having been a Teaching Master for Mohawk College in their welding program.
Harold joined in 1980 and was a very active member of Harmony Lodge 115 I.O.O.F . He was a Past Grand Master of Ontario.
Harold’s love of cadillacs was well known and he can be remembered for driving many dignitaries in his Eldorado in many Brantford Parades.
A memorial service will be held for Harold at Grace Anglican Church 4 Pearl Street Brantford Ontario on Saturday June 11 2016 at 1:00 pm.
