Harvey Stewart Joseph Hill

It is with great sadness & heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harvey Joseph Hill, at age 86, on  April 11th, 2020 at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital. Beloved husband of 63 years to wife Marjorie Hill and cherished father to daughter Elizabeth and son Terry, daughter in law Monika and proud grandfather to Erica, Nicolas and Dominic.

He is predeceased by his parents Joseph & Jessie Hill and sister Clarice and brother in law Jack. Survived by nieces Barbara and Carolann and his brother Graham and sister in law Jennifer and nieces Deirdre and Jocelyn and grand niece Maya.  Harvey was born in Lewisporte, NL on October 15th, 1933 and in the early years, he worked as a trainsman for CN railway for 15 years. In 1970 the family moved to Ontario which was home for the past 50 years.  He worked for PL Robertson, in Milton until his retirement in 1992.

Harvey enjoyed travelling, playing golf during his many winters in Florida, spending time with his family and dining out at his favourite restaurants.
Special thanks to all of the staff at Post Inn Village for their exceptional care of him while he was a resident there for the past six years.

Also thank you to the team at Oakville Trafalgar Hospital for their care and compassion during his last days.

Cremation has already taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date to be announced.
