Heather Jane Gamble

August 2, 1974 — September 13, 2024

Heather Jane Gamble passed away peacefully Friday September 13th 2024, at the young age of 50 after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind her husband, Michael Crozier of 9 years.

She is also survived by her loving children Kristen Bettinger and Courtenay (Riley Culbert), and her first cherished granddaughter Ellie Reign. Step-Mom to Ryan (Claire Hodelmoser) and Liam (Kim Borga) Crozier.

Heather also leaves behind her big sisters Sue (Hazen Bazinet), nephew Gavan and great-nephew Cai of Oklahoma, Julia (Jeff Woods) and nephews Jacob (Shannon Turner) and Jonah Longpre and her step-brother Steve Gamble (Jocelyne) of Gatineau.

Predeceased by both parents, Hugh Gamble and Elizabeth (Barber) Walker of Ottawa.

Heather was a wonderful mother, devoted grandmother, and a great friend to many. She was known for her beautiful smile, excellent cooking, sense of humour, and her ability to bring people together.

In keeping with her wishes, no formal service will be held. A celebration of life will take place at The Barley Mow in Stittsville on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 commencing at 7:30pm.

To honour her memory and the compassionate care she received, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her name to the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice in Kanata in lieu of flowers.

She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
