Helen Gladys McDonald, late of Toronto, ON, passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on Monday, February 1st, 2021 at the age of 94 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert John McDonald, parents Gregory “Harry” and Mary Kaczmarski, brothers Arthur and Bernard Kaczmarski, sisters Agnes Kaczmarski, Phyllis Dodson and Vicky Hare, and nephew Robert Dodson. Helen is survived by her sister-in-law Janet Kaczmarski of Candiac, SK; and nephews and nieces, Julie (Leroy) McGillicky, Carol (Gil) Ennis, Greg, Louise, Loretta and Leonard Kaczmarski, Richard (Mary-Lynn) Dodson, Bradley (Susan) Hare, Ken (Doris) Hare; as well as many great-nieces and nephews.
Helen lived most of her married life in New Westminster, BC, moving to Regina, SK after the death of her husband. She was an avid Saskatchewan Roughriders fan, loved shopping and eating at Swiss Chalet. She moved to Toronto after the death of her sister, Agnes, residing at Four Teddington Park Retirement Residence where she enjoyed bingo, sing-alongs and arts and crafts.
