Helen McDonald

With great sorrow yet with blessed love we announce the passing of Helen Irene McDonald (nee Trick). Helen succumbed to a short and sudden illness on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital in her 82nd year.
Helen is preceded in death by her beloved husband Mason Sutherland McDonald of 54 years, who died September 1, 2014, and beloved son Richard Douglas McDonald who died September 1, 1995. Helen, loving mother is survived by her daughter Nancy McDonald and Scott McCullough, beloved grandchildren Adam and Maeve. Helen is survived by her sister Ilene Dew of Forest, and brother-in-law Jack McDonald and Margaret of Sarnia, and beloved nieces and nephews and their families.
Helen was teacher, farmer, womens' institute member/leader, 4-H leader, quilter, avid vegetable gardener, friend, neighbour, and confidante. Helen has many loyal and loving friends due to her courageous, appreciative, and grateful nature. She will always live on in our hearts. As per Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral will take place.
