Helen Rice-Richards

It is with great sorrow that we are sharing the passing of Helen. Her sudden and unexpected death has left all of those who knew and loved her with heavy hearts. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Billy; granddaughter, Amanda; parents, Thomas and Charlotte; brothers, Edmund, Brendan, Robert; and sister, Mary.

Left behind to share her memory, and celebrate her life are children, Billy, Denise, and Tammy; grandchildren, Billy, Brendan, Krystyna, Meghan, Rachael and Ryan; great grandchildren, Jordynn and Mya; brother Joseph (Margaret) and sisters in law Marie and Margaret; as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family, all of whom she treasured; particularly Stephanie and Willow who spent countless hours sharing their time with her in Ontario.

Helen was a loving, caring and generous soul who would lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Helen was an active participant in many activities. She loved her bowling family, her Honda (retired) family and her longtime friends and neighbours, Pat, Yvette and Alice, who were always there for her and much appreciated.

Cremation has taken place and she will be taken home to be laid to rest with her loved ones in Newfoundland.
