Helen Louise Swim

The family is heartbroken to announce
her passing on Thursday, February 8, 2018.
Survived by her loving husband and soulmate,
Jim Bourke, her sisters Lysa and Vicki Swim,
her brother Robert Swim, sisters in law
Yvonne Swim and Georgina Bourke, brother in law
Mark Bourke, and nephews Patrick Bourke,
Sean Bourke, and Carter Swim.

Helen's infectious and beautiful smile will always
express the passion and vivacious way she lived.
She had an insatiable curiosity about life and learning.
Her broad range of tastes and her desire to try new
things defined who she was and how she embraced
all new experiences. She had a special bond with
animals of all kinds throughout her life, as attested by
our menagerie. Even more evident by her final career
choice and those lucky dogs that walked with her
every day for the past ten years. She will be missed
by all those who have shared the incredible life
force that was Helen.

A celebration of life will be held at the Arts and Letters Club,
14 Elm Street, Toronto on Wednesday, February 21 between
4:00 - 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's
memory may be made to the Toronto Humane Society.
