Helena (Helen) Stanislawa (Krzywicki) Burleigh

Helena (Helen) Stanislawa Burleigh will be fondly remembered by her children, Carol McDonald (Tim) and Michael Burleigh (Jan) as well as her brother Henry Krzywicki, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Anna and Michael Krzywicki and her sister Emilia (Millie) Krzywicki.

Mom was always there to listen.  I think that was one of her extraordinary qualities.  She made you feel welcome and at home, made you feel special and took a true interest in all of her friends and family and their lives.  Mom was a half full kind of person and found goodness and was thankful for the small gifts in life.  She was easy going and never complained.  A role model that I am so blessed to have had.  She will be missed by her family and friends.

Our family would like to thank the caring staff of Guildwood Extendicare who supported Mom with gentleness, respect, dignity and the utmost care while she was with them.  Our thanks to the Nurses, Support Staff, and Doctors of Centenary Hospital for their care in Mom’s last days.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Helen's life will be held at a future date to be determined in the new year.
