Henk (Harry) Vroom

VROOM, Henk - 88. Passed away at home with loving family. He is survived by beloved wife, Cynthia of 59 years, children Andrew & (Joanne), John & (Marianne), Heather, Clarissa (Arthur) Stevens, Cindy, and Henry & (Yolande), 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Predeceased by 1 grandson, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Henk immigrated to Canada in 1947 and soon got interested in the construction industry starting as a labourer to being instrumental in the Vroom family Construction Company. He retired in 1980. He volunteered in many Christian boards over the years. Friends may call at the Jennett Funeral & Cremation Centre (152 Bradford Street), Barrie on Sunday January 1st 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service from Covenant Christian Reformed Church (101 Ardagh Road), Barrie on Monday January 2nd at 1:00p.m. Private family burial at Nashville Cemetery, Vaughan.
