Hongmin Zhang

On October 24, 2021, Hongmin Zhang passed away after a struggle with cancer. She is survived by her son, Zhehao Shen. Born in Shanghai, China on January 17, 1970, she graduated at Shanghai University’s College of Liberal Arts, and further pursued her education in Canada’s University of Toronto.

A sincere thank you to all her friends and family for helping her live her life to the fullest. Her greatest loves in life were those close to her and the world around her. She was elegant and disciplined in life and has left behind a deep impression on those whom she came to know. Full of love and warmth, she met the world with a curious and open mind, eager to explore new cultures. Her love of the written word pushed her to develop her own websites and she helped foster a community with those of similar interests. Her experiences and contributions left a mark on the world and many people. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
