Ferguson Huguette Marie Yvonne nee Carriere,
October 2, 1931 – April 27, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom. She was predeceased by her beloved lifelong partner Dennis Earl Band. She is survived by her loving daughter Lynne (Denis Bourguignon) her son Jed (Diane), stepdaughters, Judi Colombi, Jennifer Band, Janet Band. Grandchildren: Amy, Adelle and Anny, Nicolas, Tim, Victoria, Sierra. Three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister Andree (Bertrand Roy) and predeceased by her father Domina Carriere, her mother Laurette Charlebois, sister Claudette Scott and brother Yves Carriere.
Huguette worked many years at the Taxation Centre and the Attorney General Judge's Office.
We would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to the very caring nurses, personal support workers, managers and owners of Riverpark Place Retirement Residence, the CCAC Palliative Team, Dr. Anjali Rajani and staff of the Queensway Carleton Hospital. So many and have gone far beyond the call of duty with their compassionate approach which provided us comfort.
As per Huguettes wishes, there will be an interment at the Notre-Dames-de- Lourdes Cemetery at a later date.
In memoriam, donations may be made to the Cancer Society. Condolences may be left at basicfunerals.ca.
