Humberto Enrique Contreras

Humberto Enrique Contreras, age 96 of Brampton, Ontario passed away at 5:13 am on December 7, 2024, in his home at the Village of Sandalwood Park.

Humberto is survived by his two children, Guillermo Contreras & Hilda Gonzalez, three grandchildren Karina Cadena, Danny Contreras and Michelle Escobar and three great grandchildren Isabella Cadena, Sebastian Cadena and Valentina Escobar.

He was born April 4, 1928, in Valparaiso, Chile and moved to Canada in 1984 at the age of 56 years old to be close to his children and be an active participant in his grandchildren's upbringing. During his life he traveled the world as he worked abroad and was a helping hand to anyone in need that crossed his path. He was well known for his sense of humour, quick wit, soft heart and was an integral part in the formative years of many young adults that were once in his care. He loved to read, dance, travel as well as attend the Horse Racing tracks on the weekend.

Friends and Family are welcome to join us at Humberto's Celebration of Life memoriam which will be held at St. Mary's Church, 66A Main St S, Brampton ON L6W 2C6 on Saturday December 14 at 10:30 AM.
