Ilene Marion Caldwell

CALDWELL, Ilene Marion (née Jory) – Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home in Barrie on Friday, August 20, 2021, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Howard Douglas Caldwell. Dear mother of David (Pat Morris), Edna, Mervyn and his wife Andrea, Lorraine Burton, and the late Joan McKnight. Also survived by her son-in-law John McKnight and his wife Jean. Loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Gladys, Lorne, Bertha, Elva, Gordon, Howard, Verna, Margaret, and Hilda. Also sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and their families. A visitation will be held at the JENNETT FUNERAL & CREMATION CENTRE, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A private funeral service will be held with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Due to the current COVID restrictions, visitation attendance will be limited.
