Ingo Roggan

April 3, 1945 — August 11, 2024

Passed away at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario on Sunday Aug 11, 2024 at the age of 79. Ingo was born on April 3rd, 1945 in Nauen, Germany. 

A loving brother and uncle, Ingo is survived by his sister Gaby (Gabe), niece Joanna, nephew Alex (Natalie), great nieces and nephews Gigi, Ethan, Javier and Isabelle. Ingo graduated Sir George Williams University (Concordia) with a Bachelors degree, Mc Gill University Certificate Renovations and Restoration of Heritage Housing, Banff school of Fine Arts Certificate of Photography. Ingo was passionate about his careers in Arts-photography, stain glass and heritage home restorations. An avid traveller Ingo had visited all of Canada, Mexico, most of the USA, Costa Rica, Europe and was still travelling his last year. He was adventurous and enjoyed skiing, sailing- owning his own sail boat where he spent many days on the water. At the age 17 Ingo joined the Royal Canadian Air Force where he served 2 years working in fire fighting. Ingo spent his years living between Quebec and Ontario enjoying meeting and making life long friends whom he shared many adventures with. He will be missed for his robust vitality for life, immense knowledge in many fields, outgoing personality and eagerness to help others. He retired in the Kawarthas where he lived out his final days with dignity.

Ingo, you “Came to See”, you did it your way. You were loved deeply and will be missed very much, until we all meet again. xoxo
