Ioannis Papadimitriou

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ioannis Papadimitriou. He passed on July 14, 2024 surrounded by his beloved family.He leaves behind his loving wife Maria of 60 years, cherished father to Anastasia (Michaili) Anneta and Evangelos. Adored Pappou to Nikolaos, Yianni and Maria.He was born in Perikleia,Pellas, Greece. Ioannis was very proud of his Greek Heritage. He came to Canada in 1970 with pennies in his pocket and worked every single day to ensure his family had everything they needed. He was hard working, determined yet humble and kind hearted.He was devoted to his family and loved nothing more than spending time with them.Despite his courageous battle with cancer he never lost his sense of humor and his infectious smile continued to fill the room.The best husband, father, grandfather.Message from his children:Η μισή μας ρίζα έφυγε...αγαπημένε μας μπαμπάκα καλό παράδεισο, οι καρδιες μας ραγιζμενες αλλα ηρθε η ώρα να ξεκουραστείς. Να είναι ελαφρύ το χώμα που σε σκεπάζει. Λόγια δεν υπαρχουν ποσο σάγαπαμε. Να μας προσέχεις απο εκεί ψηλά
