Irene, born in Bournes Land, Christ Church, Barbados, on November 17, 1923, lived a life marked by kindness, resilience, and an unwavering love for her family. She was known for her baking, cooking, entertaining, love of picnics (excursions), and generosity in sharing food, baked goods, or whatever she had. Irene found great joy and love as a dressmaker, particularly when designing bridal gowns.
She dedicated herself to helping others and touched countless lives with her generosity. She leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, love for her family, and all those she came into contact with.
Irene is survived by her children Hazel Mosley, Yvonne Montague, Ethon Daniel, Alexander Kinch, McCarthy Daniel, Clayson Daniel, Alfred Daniel, Trevor Daniel, her grandchildren including Betty Armstrong and 27 others, several great-grandchildren, siblings Althea Morris, Selva Connell, Selvyn Kinch, and Sonny Nurse, nieces, nephews, the Kinch and Powlett families, and numerous generations of family. Irene is predeceased by her late husband Levi Daniel.
Irene was a pillar of strength in our family, and her guidance and wisdom will forever remain in our hearts. Her light will continue to shine in the memories she leaves behind.
