It is with sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother Irene Kostas. She was born Irene Georgantonis in Agios Demetrios Zarakos, Laconias. She passed quietly and peacefully as was her mannerism and style over the long 97 years of her life. She was known for her sharp mind, her wise and always practical advice, her constant smile, and of course her delicious spanakopita and kolokithopita. She is survived by her daughter Rita (George), son George (Ann), brother Steve, her four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.
