Irene Germaine (Lalonde) Labonté

Irene Labonté, from Kemptville, Ontario passed away peacefully December 9, 2021. with the love of her life by her side.

Irene will be sadly missed by her husband of 53 years, Aurele Labonte. Her legacy lives on in her children Roger and wife Julie Labonte, Renee and husband Alain Lemaire, Shane Labonte and Venessa Labonte. Her grandchildren Caleb, Samuel, Keegan, Felix, Morgan, Adele and Rock complete Irene’s circle of love.

She also leaves behind her siblings, Rita Rheault, Jeanine Lalonde, Gerard Lalonde and Theresa Crisp as well as her cherished nieces, nephews and many dear In-Laws that were like siblings to her. She is predeceased by her parents Claire (Bonneville) and Clifford Lalonde and her brother Roger Lalonde.

Irene loved spending time with family and friends, going bowling and weekly bingo. She was also an avid walker, keeping her fit and strong until the end. On her quiet days she would be in the kitchen baking her famous homemade bread or butter tarts. The cookie jar was never empty in Irene’s kitchen.

A Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring of 2022.
