MYLOCHARAKTIS Irene,
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Irene Eirini Mylocharaktis.
Irene devoted her life to her family and took care of everyone, before herself. She worked hard all her life and sacrificed her life/health for her loved ones. She loved nothing more than to see her children succeed and be happy in all their endeavours. Irene was proud of her children and always spoke of them with great admiration.
When she had difficult days, we will always remember her saying, "I am fine now that you are here with me".
Irene is also a very well respected and active member of the Greek Community and Athenians Association. Irene's love for her community was great. She volunteered her time, donated when possible and attended various events to support Greek Organizations/Churches. Irene was a member of the Athenians for over 40 years and the President for the past 10 years. This was her passion and many describe her as the "Heart, soul and voice of the Athenians".
Irene was born to Alexandros and Panayota Lambrou on Feb. 28, 1949 in Athens, Greece and left us on January 19, 2024, at the age of 75. Eirini has been reunited with her late husband, George and her mom, Panayota. She is survived by her loving children, Patty, Joanne and Tom and dearly loved by her beautiful grandchildren Irene, Anthi and George. They were her pride and joy and held a very special place in her heart.
Irene will be greatly missed by family and friends. She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, warmth and humour, as well as her incredible soul and life here with us on earth.
May her memory be eternal and may she forever be in our hearts.
Mom we will hold you in our hearts, until we can hold you in heaven.
