Irma Woodhouse

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Irma Woodhouse, on March 18 2025, at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Woodhouse.

Born in Bradford Ontario, Irma Woodhouse was a woman of grace, compassion, and resilience. As a mother, she provided a nurturing home filled with warmth and encouragement, and her children were the center of her world. She was known for her caring nature, her gentle spirit, and her selfless dedication to those she loved.

Dear mother of Gordon of Barrie, Douglas (Katherine) also of Barrie and Diane Van Niekerk (Marc) of Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Connor, Sebastian and Seth, and many other loving family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.

The funeral service will be held at Basic Funerals and Cremation Choices 152 Bradford Street in Barrie on Saturday March 29th 2025 at 10am. It will be preceded by a period of visitation beginning at 9am. There will not be a reception after the service. Spring interment Ivy Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the charity of your choosing in her honor.
