Irvin Thomas Luckasavitch, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Kingston General Hospital. Irvin or Tom as he was known to friends was born July 6, 1940 to Felix and Mary (Chippior) Luckasavitch in Whitney, Ontario, the third youngest of 10 children.
Growing up Tom always loved to play ball with the neighbours kids. He would pick berries with his sisters and brothers. Although Tom only liked to pick the big berries as it would fill his basket faster. Tom worked for many companies and GP Flakeboard until it closed in 2000 and he then retired. In 1976 he married the love of his life Kathleen Turner. Tom always wanted to look his best no matter the occasion. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and going to church. He loved fishing, hunting, animals and flowers. Tom was great at making up fun stories for his grand-children and great-grandchildren with valuable life lessons. He could turn the simple sound of a frog crocking at night into a fully story with characters and personalities.
Tom is survived by his wife of 41 years Kay, daughters Sherri (Brian) Woodward, Tammey (Darrin) Colley, Sharon (Doug) Marsh, Kathy (Bill) Wallace, Jeannie Ferby, and son Derrick Jensen and proceeded sons Darrel and Danny Jensen, grandchildren Dominique, Taro, Amanda, Amy, Ryan, Joey, Nicky, Dusty, Jessie, Amy, Lawnie, Jason, Christine, Carrie, Penny, great- grandchildren Jayden, Landon, Brennley, Heaven, Jade, Alex, Lincoln, Lion and Liam, Myla, Chance, Lilleigh and Deklan, sisters Evelyn, Mary, Phyllis, proceeded by his brothers Dominic, Max, Lawrence, Edmund, Raymond and numerous nieces and nephews.
