Iwona Trzaskowska

Trzaskowska, Iwona passed away peacefully at her home on November 25, 2020 surrounded by her closest family in her 40th year.

Loving wife of Andrzej, beloved mother of Aleksandra and Alicia, daughter of Andrzej and Alicija and sister of Grzegorz and Piotr.

Iwona graduated from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland and worked as an accomplished accountant before arriving in Canada and working as a government employee for Statistics Canada.

Family and those who knew her remember a vibrant woman who was full of life, loved to travel, spend time with friends, and dearly loved her husband and beautiful daughters. Iwona’s strong faith in God gave her much comfort and strength while fighting her battle with cancer and gave her the ability to find even small moments of joy during the most challenged days.

Her funeral will take place at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Oakville on Thursday, December 3 at 11am and will be followed by interment at Assumption Cemetery in Mississauga.

The family would like to thank Ft. Piotr Machnicki for his guidance and prayer during this difficult time as well as close family and friends for their thoughts and continued support.

May she rest in peace and forever stay in our hearts.

We will miss her dearly.
