Jack Charles Worrod

WORROD, Jack Charles - Born May 5, 1941, in Barrie and passed away suddenly at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on May 12, 2022, in his 82nd year. Son of the late Alberta Coxworth and Charles Worrod. Loving husband of Joanne for 60 years. Devoted father of Kim (Steve) Wittenberg and Dan (Susan) Worrod. Pappy to Ryan (Casey) Mosley, Jordan (Lindsey) Mosley and Amy & Lucas Worrod. Great Pappy to Keira & Kaiden Mosley. Loving brother of Sandra (Norman – predeceased) Neely and the late Mervin & Kenneth Worrod. Dear brother-in-law of Valerie (Charles – predeceased) Woods. Jack was employed at Tyler, Hill & Oryx Refrigeration until his retirement in 2002. He enjoyed the outdoors and was often found fishing & hunting and also camping in his favourite place – Rock Lake in Algonquin Park. Jack was passionate about the Toronto Blue Jays and rarely missed watching a game. He will be deeply missed by his family & friends. At his request, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the RVH Foundation through BASIC FUNERALS & CREMATION CHOICES – JENNETT MEMORIAL CENTRE, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie.
