Jacqueline Yvette (Viau) Watkins

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Jacqueline Yvette Watkins (neé Viau) on January 30, 2022 at the age of 85. Jacqueline was also known as Nanny, Mom, Auntie Jackie and Ms. Watkins. You blessed our lives with your smile, warm & gentle heart, generosity and caring nature.

Jacqueline was predeceased by her husband Enoch William Watkins at a young age but was blessed with 3 children, William (Christine), Robert (Deborah) and Sharon (Tracy). She always said to us "you guys never had nothing" but she never realized we had the world because we always had her. Overtime the family grew to include grandchildren, Stuart (Kristy), Brent (& Family), Chelsey (Adam), Bradley (Amanda), Brittany (Brandon), Emmitt & Kira and great & great great grandchildren. Mom had many extended family members and friends including her family at Extendicare Medex Long Term Care (Baseline), who we wish thank from the bottom of our hearts for the love and care provided.

Jacqueline came from a large family and was predeceased by her father (Lauren Viau) and mother (Therese Viau – neé Dinelle) and sisters the late Fleurette (late Lionel), the late Fernande (late Ronald) and is survived by her sister Collette (Louis), brothers Phillipe (Linda), Rheal, Claude (Cindy), Jean-Paul (Laurie), and Lionel (Louise). As well as many nieces, nephews too many to name.

Although you have left the physical world, we know that your sweet loving spirit will always be around us and we can talk to you at anytime. So many memories we share to make us smile, so many memories to make us laugh and some memories that brought tears but those were just moments.

You will be missed more then you could ever imagine. You were incredible. We love you to the moon and back and you will never ever be forgotten.

Please note that due to Covid-19, a celebration of life will be scheduled for the Spring. In honor of this most incredible lady, donations can be made to the Dementia Society (https://dementiahelp.ca) in her name.
