Jacquelyn died peacefully in her sleep, after struggling with a respiratory condition for several months. Predeceased by her very vocal dog Cypress, she leaves behind the great love of her life Jeff Shara, along with her mother Patricia Hunter-Jeddrie, stepfather Ron Taylor, sister Jennifer Steele, nephews Harley & James Davidson, brother Alexander Allcock, father Paul Allcock, stepmother Lorie Plows, Lorie’s family and “everyone’s papa” Doug Steele. Our Jacy was also loved by the Five Q’s, Paula & Patrick Quinn, Samantha, Bailey & Hunter, Aunt Jennifer Roberts and cousin Robyn, her grandparents, Peg & Roy Allcock and the late Jean & Bob Hunter, as well as a wealth of other family members, plus a huge and extended family of friends.
A Celebration of Jacy’s Life will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 2-4pm, downstairs at The Royal Canadian Legion on King Street, in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We invite you to bring along photos, a “Jacy story”, song , poem or limerick to share as we remember that pintsized, pretty, blonde, powerhouse with the radiant smile, a twinkle in her eye, a will of iron and a great big heart.
Because of the wonderful help and support given to Jacy’s brother Alexander by The Sunny Hill Health Centre in Vancouver, donations in her memory may be made through the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation at:
