Jacques Joseph Schnobb

It is with profound sadness that the family of Jacques Joseph Schnobb announce his peaceful passing on the 7th of March, 2021 at the age of 64 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Shirley Schnobb (née Rothman), his two sons, Cody (Jackie) and Christopher (Erin), two grandchildren, Seth and Ryker, and siblings Anne (Carl), Victor (Susan), Robert (Evelyn), and Tina (Michael).

Jacques was predeceased by his sister Janet Schnobb, brother-in-law Michael Seary, and his parents Lillian Schnobb (née Crate) and Andre Schnobb.

Jacques was born on the 11th of September, 1956 in Ottawa, Ontario. He worked as a porter in the Transportation Department of the Ottawa Civic Hospital for many years, and enjoyed retirement with his grandsons. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and brother.

The family would like to thank the medical staff at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, the Toronto General Hospital, and the Ottawa Hospital General Campus for their kindness and compassion.

Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a celebration of Jacques' life when larger gatherings are allowed. The family asks that anyone able considers the gift of life that is organ donation.
