James (Jim) Neill Bishop died peacefully at home and surrounded by his family on February 24th. Predeceased by his wife Joanne (nee Donaldson), he will be missed by children Julie, Amy, and Greg, daughter-in-law Sherry, grandchildren Aaron, Zoe, and Shuma, partner Norah Oakley, and cats Cocoa, Toki and Fluffles the Magnificent. Lover of fish (eating them, catching them, studying them, and wearing t-shirts adorned with them), beer, chemistry, hockey, books, cats, rocks, and good food (see: fish). Jim was born on July 13th, 1943 in Trail, BC and attended the University of Alberta before settling in Brampton, enjoying a long and varied career as an environmental and analytical chemist.
