James Arthur Coles

James Arthur Coles, June 29, 1949 – March 29, 2017. It is with heavy hearts that we announce that James passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, in the late afternoon of March 29, 2017 at his cabin in Carleton Place, Ont. at the age of 67.
James was born in Montreal and lived throughout Canada, he eventually settled in a quiet, peaceful cabin just outside of Carleton Place. James is survived by his children James (Jay), James, and his grandchildren, Sawyer, Kinley and London. He is also survived by his sisters, Maureen, Alita and his cat Mama. Dad was never shy to form an opinion, and will be remembered for his spirited conversations, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He made people laugh and loved to share stories of the old days. He was particularly passionate about animals.
Respectful of his wishes, no funeral service will be held. His final wishes were to be set free to swim with the Orcas in the Pacific Ocean.
