James Conan Crawford

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of James. He fought valiantly his battle with pancreatic cancer. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

James is predeceased by his parents, Paul Crawford, Lorraine Blair, stepfather John Blair and brother Frank Crawford. He will be missed by his brother Martin (Debra) Crawford and sister Joanne (Tim House) Crawford. Nieces and nephews Patrick, Bredon, Carrie, Jenna, Sam and Molly Crawford and great niece Ava and nephews Hudson and Jack Crawford.

Thank you to Dr. Brooke Wilson, Cancer Research Institute, Kingston, Dr. Jade Sillick Tay River Health Centre, Perth, all the wonderful and patient nurses on the 2nd and 3rd floor at the Perth hospital and thanks to the staff at Tay River and Bayshore Clinics in Perth.

Also special thanks to our amazing cousins and friends who helped with driving Jamie to his appointments, bringing him food, laundry, spending time with him and anything that helped make James’ life easier…Mark Kyle, Ann Marie Kyle, Paul and Tracy Williams, Patti and Ab Young, Christine Williams and Gary McGee, Cindy Whitehead, Lois and Stephen Sweeney, Maureen and Larry Geroux, Ann Warren, Anthony Brown, Driftin’ Doug Smith, Bonnie McFarlane, Kevin Choffe and all the open mic folks from Fiddleheads in Perth.

James is interned at Sacred Heart of Jesus cemetery in Lanark, Ontario.
