Ingham, James Edward
Ed was born in 1929 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario and lived in St Catherine's Ontario until he joined the Armed Forces. He was the son of Hugh Ingham and Phyllis (Hugall) Ingham.
He spent 25 years in the Canadian Navy at which time he served in Korea. After his Naval Career he worked for Public Works Canada.
He was compassionate, caring, honest and very loyal. He loved a challenging conversation, had strong opinions, right or wrong, rarely wavered. Ed loved his family with all his heart and was dearly loved. He was extremely handy and in his later years took great pride in large scale model building, especially boats and ships.
Ed was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, Father B. MacLeod Assembly - Sydney, Nova Scotia
Ed is survived by former wife Pat McEachran and their children; Jeffery, Nova Scotia, Jamie (Dawn) in Ontario and daughter Juli (Erik) in Alberta. Dearly loved by grandchildren, Nicole Francis, Christopher and Charlotte Ingham.
Ed was predeceased by his parents, brothers Larry and Donald, sister Muriel and wife Bernadette "Bisson" Ingham.
A service will be held at a future date at the Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Sunnybrook Veteran Hospital in Toronto.
