REMEMBERING JAMES (Jim) RICHARD OCKWELL
May 12, 1957 – June 22, 2017
Jim passed away peacefully at Michael Garron (East General) Hospital in the presence of his family and his devoted dog Pablo. Jim fought through a courageous battle of cancer and strongly expressed his will to live. He had a love for music, sports and driving. Jim often shared his words of wisdom and had a great sense of humour.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol Taylor, his daughter Natasha Lawrence and her husband Peter, his son Justin Taylor and his wife Emily. Proud grandfather to Carissa, Molly, Charlie and Hazel. Brother to Karen McGillivray, her family, and son to Marjorie and Albert Ockwell, both predeceased.
