Janeth Cooper

Janeth Mary Cooper (nee Sturrock), 88, of Don Mills Ontario, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at the Thompson House. Born March 16, 1924, in Calgary, AB, Janeth was a founding Director of the Rhododendron Society of Canada, a certified Master Gardener, and dedicated member of the North Toronto Horticultural Society, as well as the the Ontario Rock Garden and Hardy Plant Society. She was a familiar and knowledgeable face at flower shows around the province, and her spectacular garden was the envy of many who passed by it. Janeth is survived by her husband, Andrew ‘Lindsay’ Cooper, and children Stuart (Ingrid), David ‘Sandy’, Blythe, and James (Christine). Her grandchildren, Paige, Allie, Lindsey, Michael, and Adam, miss her deeply.
