OVSENEK, JANEZ (JOHN)

Peacefully passed away at Kipling Acres on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the age of 99. Beloved husband of 64 years to the late Barbara Ann Smith (2016).

Loving Father of Barbara (Bill), Philip (Hanna), Ruth (Paul), Anna Marie, Peter (Athena), and daughter-in-law Lalita. Predeceased by his loving son Nicholas (2023). He will be deeply missed by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He will be fondly remembered for his grace, kindness, beautiful and bountiful gardens, and his ability as a formidable bread maker.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, 41 John Street, Fenelon Falls, Ontario. Following the service, refreshments will be available in the Church Hall.
