Jean-Charles “Charlie” Lacroix

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jean-Charles on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Charlie, as his friends nicknamed him, was in his 67th year. He leaves behind Janet, his devoted wife of 41 years, his son, whom he was so proud of, Patrick (Julie) and his two grandchildren Adrien and Sara whom he cherished and thought the world of. He will be fondly remembered by sister Diane (Mario). Charlie will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Adrien Lacroix and Cecile Mallette and his sister Louise (Michel).

As per Charlie’s wishes, a private funeral service will take place at the Notre Dame of Ottawa Cemetery on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus for their care and compassion.

The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
