Jeffrey (Jeff) Robert Nelles

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Jeffrey Robert Nelles on February 11, 2025, at the age of 62 years. Jeff left this world peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Jeff is survived by his devoted wife and life partner of 37 years, Lynne, as well as Mother Joyce Hodgins (Joe), daughters Ashleigh (Ian) and Taylor (Casey), sisters Lee-Anne (Steve) and Lisa (Paul), brother Rick, brother-in-law Raymond, grandson Casper, and many loving nieces and nephews. Jeff was pre-deceased by Father Bob Nelles, and in-laws Joe and Lucille Martin.

Born in London, Ontario, Jeff spent his early years in many different cities due to his father’s profession, however, Ottawa became his city of choice in which to live and raise his beautiful family. Jeff was an avid hockey fan and had an intense love of good food, wine, his backyard smoker/BBQ, gardening and listening to classic rock, specifically his favorite band The Tragically Hip. Jeff had many admirable traits, but he will always be remembered as an incredibly hard worker, both professionally and in his personal life.
