Jennifer Tames

With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Jennifer Joy Alicia Tames, three months shy of her 41st birthday, on August 17, 2024, at Mississauga Trillium Hospital, Ontario.

She was the beloved wife of Cory Maguire and cherished daughter of William and Joy Tames. 

Jenn will forever be loved and missed by sisters Julie, Melissa, Vikki and brother Fred. She was a fun-loving aunt to Sloane, Jack and Ann, Nevaeh, Jericho and Liam.

She loved every child she ever met!

Despite chronic illnesses, Jenn always tried to maintain a positive outlook on life. Her sense of humour was a bonus! Of course, her favourite four kitties, photography, adult colouring, and cross-stitching put a big smile on her face.

We will CELEBRATE HER LIFE on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m. at St. John's Dixie, 737 Dundas Street East Mississauga, near Cawthra Road.

If attending, please wear either purple or brightly coloured casual clothes to honour Jenn.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Diabetes Canada, Kidney Foundation or a local animal shelter.

We can no longer see Jenn with our eyes, but we will carry her forever in our hearts.
