Jerwin Belmonte

Jerwin Belmonte, age 31, passed away on November 27, 2022, in Burlington, Ontario.

Jerwin was born on May 4, 1991, in Quezon City, Philippines to Jerich and Rafaela Belmonte and had two elder brothers, Jedrick and Jericho.

He grew up in Winnipeg where he went to St. John’s Highschool and had made special connections and lifetime friends. Jerwin may have had some struggles, but he lived life to the fullest. He loved music, video games, movies, and so much more. He would do anything for his friends and loved fiercely. He made everyone who knew him laugh, cry, and clap at all the stories he shared.

He then moved to Edmonton in 2013 and quickly made friends and fully blossomed into a man. Jerwin immediately lit up any room he entered and made an impact on everyone he met. He was a joyful presence with his contagious smile and personality.

Jerwin was a giving, caring and selfless soul. He shared his passion for his craft through helping others and would do anything for anyone. Loyal and kind, almost to a fault, Jerwin was head-strong and would describe himself as occasionally being “stubborn.”

Jerwin was larger than life, his shoes cannot be filled. May he rest in peace.
