Jill Alexandra Ward

Jill was only 60 when she passed away peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital on June 29th in Toronto, Ontario after going through two cancer battles. In addition to her parents and step father Bill Dean, she was predeceased by her brother Bruce who suddenly passed away the same day. She is survived by her three sisters, Judi, Debbie and Patt, and their families including Bruce’s family.

There were many friends of Jill’s who made it possible for her to stay at home for as long as she wished, but especially Jennifer, Ticky, Arlene, Sandy, Shawn and Nancy, and the many caring neighbours in her co-op apartment.

Jill loved the theatre, especially Young People’s Theatre, and enjoyed photography. Jill loved to travel and spent lots of time in both Montreal and Paris.

She will be sadly missed by her family and her many friends.

The family request those who wished to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Young People’s Theatre in Jill’s name.

“If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart, I’ll always be with you,”
