Jocelyne Linda Lavoie (Jo-Jo)

Our precious mother, Jocelyne Linda Lavoie (Jo-Jo) passed away in her home on Tuesday March 19th 2024, from COPD and lung cancer.

Jocelyne is survived by her sister Brigitte (Mario) and her brother Alain (Chantal), her children Julie (Eric), Nathalie (Frank), Sandra (Dave), Valerie (Johnny) and Sylvain (Sydney). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, godchildren and we can’t forget Willow who stayed with her until the end.

She is predeaceased by her mother Marie, father Jules, granddaughter Annabelle and the love of her life, Luc.

Our mother was full of energy and very independant. She devoted her life to her children. Jocelyne loved nature, hunting, camping, and spending time with the family. She will truly be missed.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends wishing to honor Jocelyne are invited to make a donation to the Lung Cancer Canada.

Jocelyne’s celebration of life will take place on April 14th at 4:00pm, in the Chapel at Ferme Drouin. 1230 Rte 400, Casselman. Followed by a light snack.

At a later time, the family will gather in Riviere-A-Pierre.

Notre précieuse mère, Jocelyne Linda Lavoie (Jo-Jo) est décédée à son domicile le mardi 19 mars 2024, suites d'une MPOC et du cancer des poumons.

Jocelyne laisse dans le deuil sa sœur Brigitte (Mario) et son frère Alain (Chantal), ses enfants Julie (Eric), Nathalie (Frank), Sandra (Dave), Valérie (Johnny) et Sylvain (Sydney). Elle laisse également dans le deuil ses petits-enfants, arrière-petits-enfants, filleuls et nous ne pouvons pas oublier Willow qui est restée avec elle jusqu'à la fin.

Elle repose maintenant auprès de sa mère Marie, de son père Jules, de sa petite-fille Annabelle et de son amoureux Luc.

Notre mère était pleine d'énergie et très indépendante. Elle a consacré sa vie à ses enfants.

Jocelyne aimait la nature, la chasse, le camping et passer du temps en famille. Elle va vraiment nous manquer.

Maman, tu nous aimais tellement, tu nous tenais si fort, 

jusqu'à ce que toutes vos forces disparaissent et que vous ne puissiez plus vous battre. 

Alors tu as tendu la main à Dieu et tu t'es éloigné lentement, 

sachant qu'avec notre amour nous serons de nouveau ensemble un jour.

La célébration de la vie de Jocelyne aura lieu le 14 avril à 16h00, à la Chapelle de la Ferme Drouin. 1230, route 400, Casselman, ON.  Suivi d'une dégustation légère.

La famille seulement se réunira à Rivière-A-Pierre, date à venir.
