Johannes (Joe) Krul

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Johannes Krul, affectionately known as Joe, announce that he passed away peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto on March 5, 2023.

He was born on Oct 27,1933, in Nieuwleusen Netherlands, and moved to Canada in 1954 with his beloved wife Hilly. Joe was a skilled carpenter and builder who constructed numerous homes for his family. He was passionate about woodworking, boating, and spending time with his cherished grandchildren. Joe had a heart full of love that he generously shared with his family and friends. He was always there to lend a helping hand, enjoy a cup of coffee with a chat, take his grandchildren for walks to see the trains, and create beautiful woodcrafts.

Joe is predeceased by his dear wife Hilly, who is waiting to see him again. He is survived by his loving daughter Annette, her husband Michael, and Joe's adoring grandchildren, Alexander and Abigail, who will miss him deeply. Joe is also survived by his son Edward.

A funeral service will be held in Joe's honor on March 11, 2023 at 10:00 am at Jennett Memorial Centre in Barrie. Johannes's family would like to invite his friends to join them in remembering him.
